phosphate and 3’-hydroxyl groups in duplex DNA or RNA. This enzyme is capable of joining adjacent nucleotides in either a blunt-ended or
cohesive-endedconfiguration, as well as repairing single-stranded nicks in duplex DNA, RNA or DNA/RNA hybrids.
